Shai Gilgeous-Alexander debuted a sleek, new colorway inspired by his mom, Charmaine during the Game 1 of the 2025 Western Conference Semifinals. Revealing the Converse SHAI 001 in “Charm Black,” the shoe’s no-sea upper gives the silhouette a smooth design, crafted out of neoprene and TPU paneling. The shoe is dipped in black from top to bottom including the plush midfoot and collar. Instead of laces, the shoe features a zipper shroud for a more sleek design as it sits atop low-key Air Zoom unit and full-length midsole. Look out for the pair dropping later this year.
