Pizza Hut Launches “Pizza Caviar Bump Box” in NYC
Tapping into the high-low culinary trend of topping comfort foods with luxury ingredients.
Pizza Hut has unveiled a new creation: pizza caviar. Inspired by the high-low culinary trend of topping comfort foods with luxury ingredients, the fast-food chain has reimagined the concept — introducing pepperoni-flavored pearls in a form that mimics traditional caviar.
Crafted from agar-agar and pepperoni-flavored water, these fish-free pearls bring a smoky, savory kick and are made to be dunked, bumped or dropped on top of various foods. The pizza caviar makes its debut in the brand’s limited-edition “Pizza Caviar Bump Box” — a playful spin on the My Hut Box combo. Inside, diners will find a cheese Personal Pan Pizza and a choice of boneless wings or fries, all topped with the pepperoni caviar.
“As a brand that’s always pushing the boundaries of what pizza culture can be, we saw an opportunity to take one of today’s biggest food trends and make it our own,” said Melissa Friebe, Pizza Hut’s Chief Marketing Officer.
The Pizza Caviar Bump Box will be available exclusively at the Pizza Hut location at 932 8th Avenue in New York City from April 10 to 12, while supplies last.
