GKIDS Announces ‘DAN DA DAN: Evil Eye’ North America Theatrical Release Dates

GKIDS has recently revealed the trailer for DAN DA DAN: Evil Eye, an exclusive theatrical release that builds anticipation for the series’ upcoming second season. The release follows the confirmation of DAN DA DAN’s return in July, offering fans a preview of what’s to come.
As announced by GKIDS, the film will feature final episode of Season 1, along with the first three episodes of DAN DA DAN Season 2, offering fans a chance to catch parts of the series ahead of its official TV release. This exclusive screening also includes bonus content, such as an interview with the co-directors.
The “Evil Eye” arc introduces a formidable antagonist and delves into themes of supernatural intrigue and suspense. The trailer highlights intense confrontations, including Okarun’s battle against the titular Evil Eye, a 200-year-old curse seeking revenge. The visuals showcase Science SARU‘s signature animation style, complemented by an original score from Kensuke Ushio, known for his work on Chainsaw Man.
DAN DA DAN: Evil Eye is set to premiere in North American theaters on June 6, 2025, with a European release planned for June 7.
