Beats Announces its New 'Beats Cables' Collection
The cables launch alongside a funny commercial featuring the brand’s iconic “Pill People”.
It’s not everyday that charging cables make the news, but Apple-owned Beats just announced its first-ever cables collection today – and, alongside this, it dropped possibly the coolest commercial for cables that there has ever been.
The new Beats Cables collection comprises a wide selection of USB-C to USB-C, USB-A to USB-C, and USB-C to Lightning cables in multiple colors and lengths. The colors include Bolt Black, Surge Stone, Nitro Navy, and Rapid Red, all of which match up to products in Beats’ current headphones line-up, with two lengths options to choose from including short 20cm (8in) and long 1.5m (5ft).
For its “Pill People” campaign, Beats worked with comedians Ben Marshall, Desi Banks and Megan Stalter who voiced the animated characters.
The Beats Cables collection is available now online and in-store at Apple stores, with prices starting at £18.99 GBP / $18.99 USD.
