Pour One Out for Jonathan Anderson's LOEWE: The House's First Hennessy Paradis Collaboration

We’ve all got LOEWE on the brain today.

With Creative Director Jonathan Anderson‘s not-so-surprising step down from the house’s helm, high fashion fanatics and followers of the house can’t help but wonder what’s next for the Spanish atelier. While our questions remain unanswered, LOEWE has lifted the veil on something new to sip on while we bid our time.

For the first time ever, Hennessy‘s Hennessy Paradis has teamed up with the fashion house for objet d’art which reimagines the black label liquor through the design lens of the acclaimed fashion house. Inspired by a chestnut burr, the handcrafted leather encasement comes in three different colorways – each of which represents a different point in the life cycle of a chestnut – anise, ambar and chestnut.

The bespoke chestnut burr “nests,” not only protect the bottle but also pay homage to the chestnut wood circles that Hennessy uses to safeguard its most precious barrels, as well as the signature color of LOEWE’s leather goods. Each “nest” is comprised of up to 850 intricate knots and required up to 33 hours of effort on-site in LOEWE’s ateliers overseas in Spain.  Each carafe comes finished off with a leather belt, neck clip and “dedicated service ritual” including two glasses and a pipette.
