Karma Automotive has unveiled its first-ever 2-door coupe, the Amaris, marking the next evolution of its Extended-Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) technology. Scheduled for production in Q4 2026, the Amaris blends luxury, high performance and efficiency with an exterior inspired by the brand’s earlier Kaveya super-coupe.

Designed using carbon fiber and aluminum, the Amaris sports 22-inch forged aluminum Constellation wheels, “swan doors” and a flowing Comet Line that defines its sculpted silhouette. A rear aero pass-through spoiler and Americana-inspired side exhaust underline its performance DNA, while the iconic clamshell hood and Target Lighting complete its sleek front end.

Under the hood, the Amaris is powered by Karma’s most powerful EREV system to date — a turbocharged 4-cylinder ICE generator paired with electric motors. The coupe is expected to accelerate from 0–60 mph in under 3.5 seconds, with a projected top speed of 165 mph. Karma also revealed that its Gyesera 4-door, initially introduced as a fully-electric model, will now adopt an EREV setup and launch in late 2025, succeeding the Revero.

“With the Amaris and upcoming Gyesera, we’re building a lineup that delivers EV-like torque with the freedom of extended range,” said Karma President Marques McCammon.

Both models are built on an evolved aluminum spaceframe architecture first used in the Revero, allowing Karma to accelerate development as it broadens its luxury offerings. The all-electric Kaveya super-coupe will now launch in 2027, followed by the Ivara GT-UV in 2028, with details on pricing yet to be announced at the time of writing.
