Nike has a new Air Max silhouette releasing this year and its dropping in three new colorways first. Named the Nike Air Max Fire, the new silhouette offers a understated option for those who are fans of the Air Max DN8. Taking design inspiration from various Air Max iterations throughout the years, the newly revealed silhouette features curvilinear graphic ridges on the upper that merges into the Swoosh and cuts through the heel. Constructed out of mixed media, the silhouette relies heavily on ballistic mesh as the foundation for textured synthetics laid throughout the profile all the way to the eyestays. The ridges run from the quarter to the forefoot, reminiscent of the Tailwind series. In the queue for the initial delivery, the Nike Air Max Fire will drop in a “Triple White,” “Triple Black” and “Black/Red” to kick things off later this season. The shoe is expected to retail for $100 USD.
