The brands will congregate in LVMH’s semi-final showroom in Paris on March 5 and 6, when the LVMH Prize Committee of Experts, which includes 80 global fashion specialists, will choose the eight finalists. The public will also be available to vote for their favorite designers through March 9.

The LVMH Prize includes three awards, each with a narrow focus and perks. The LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers, which highlights creativity, comes with a €400,000 EUR endowment and a one-year mentorship from a dedicated LVMH team. The Karl Lagerfeld Prize, which also goes to a designer based on their creativity, includes a €200,000 EUR endowment and a one-year mentorship program. Lastly, the newly added Savoir-Faire Prize, which is awarded based on craftsmanship, expertise, innovation and sustainability, presents winners with a €200,000 EUR endowment and a one-year specific mentoring program.

Notably, the LVMH Prize also recognizes three fashion school graduates, each of whom receive €10,000 EUR and enter the design team of one of the conglomerate’s brands for a year. Applications remain open through March 30 via the LVMH Prize website.
