Awake NY and sound equipment purveyor Marshall have come together for an all-new Acton III speaker produced in a limited edition design. Paying tribute to the cultural hub of New York City, the collaborators showcase the forthcoming release with an intergenerational campaign celebrating art, design and community.

The redesign of Marshall’s most compact speaker honors the original character of the retro piece while introducing bold touches from the Awake NY team. A black-on-black checker pattern covers the leather shell, while blue details accent the control center. On the facade of the speaker, Marshall’s classic 3D metal logo is juxtaposed with Awake NY’s wordmark, printed onto the driver cover.

Equipped with Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity and an analog the 3.5 mm input, the speaker also boasts Built-in Dynamic Loudness, which automatically balances sound for an optimal listening experience.

In 2024, the collaborators launched “Live From Awake NY,” a year-long musical event series with exclusive product drops and ongoing support for the Queens Teens Institute for Art and Social Justice. The showcases included intimate performances from emerging and established artists in the Awake NY flagship.

The Awake NY Edition Acton III is available for pre-order now at Marshall’s web store and will drop at Awake NY’s site on February 13.
