Following the inaugural collaboration, the signature solid perfume returns in a new hard casing alongside a scented candle debut.
Summary
- Kiko Kostadinov x rétaW have unveiled their Fabaceae scent in two forms: scented candle and solid perfume
- The scent boasts a bright aroma, blended with notes of cedarwood, sandalwood and leather
The latest collaboration between avant‑garde label Kiko Kostadinov and Tokyo‑based fragrance brand rétaW brings back their signature “Fabaceae” scent in two new forms, extending the vision of their inaugural partnership. Designed to create a “sensory continuity between body and space,” the release allows fans to experience the Fabaceae identity through both self‑care and home ambience. Made in Japan, the fragrance is described as bright yet robust, blending cedarwood, sandalwood, and leather with subtle notes of vetiver and musk.
For the first time, Fabaceae is offered as a poured wax candle, housed in a custom “Kiko grey” vessel that translates the brand’s design language into a home object. The original solid perfume also returns, now updated and repackaged in a new hard casing that refines its portable format.
The Kiko Kostadinov x rétaW Fabaceae collection launches on December 11 via the brand’s website and its flagship stores in London and Los Angeles, followed by an official release in the Tokyo and Seoul locations on December 13.
