JOOPITER has announced “The Footnotes: From the Collection of Pharrell Williams,” a significant auction featuring 50 rare and sought-after sneakers and shoes from the personal archive of the legendary creative. This collection perfectly illustrates Williams’ rich and long-standing stature within the world of sneaker culture. The sale, which opens for global bidding on November 17 until November 25, offers a unique look into his journey.
Collectors will find exclusive pieces ranging from BAPESTA FS-001s from the early 2000s and rare BBC Ice Cream x Reebok Boardflips, to iconic models from his partnership with adidas and a curated selection of Louis Vuitton formal shoes. Among the 50 lots are 20 pairs of rare Nike Dunks and two Timberlands customized by Williams himself.
Highlights include the coveted adidas x Pharrell Williams Human Race NMD Trail Respira Sample Sneakers, produced as Friends-and-Family exclusives in 2016, and a pair of the extremely limited 2002 Nike x Undefeated Dunk High HyperStrike Sample Sneakers.
Bidding for every lot will begin at $1 with no reserve, and a portion of net proceeds will benefit Black Ambition, Pharrell’s non-profit organization. “The Footnotes: From the Collection of Pharrell Williams” opens for global bidding on November 17 via the JOOPITER website.
