Marking the first audio brand from the NTT sonority, nwm introduces a new skeleton-style model to its signature Open-Ear headphone lineup: the nwm ONE Phantom Gray. Arriving roughly one year after the launch of the original nwm ONE, the brand has since steadily amplified its presence from Japan and expanding to the US and China markets. Now, at this pivotal moment, a bold new iteration enters the scene — a deep, light-shifting model that changes expression depending on its surroundings.
The skeleton aesthetic pays homage to the futuristic technology envisioned in the ’90s while embodying a grounded vision of the future today. Its iconic, translucent design offers a rare glimpse into the product’s internal architecture, striking a balance between refined sophistication and everyday utility — a statement piece that resonates with both street culture and tech enthusiasts alike.
Engineered for a new era of sound, the nwm ONE delivers overwhelming openness and spatial expression unique to open-ear listening, enhanced by a dual-driver setup that achieves a broad frequency range. NTT’s proprietary PSZ (Personalized Sound Zone) technology is combined with the patented Magic Focus Voice, which was designed with deep expertise in vocal characteristics. This combination enables a groundbreaking experience: headphones that don’t block your ears, yet minimize sound leakage, suppress external noise for voice transmission with crystal clarity. At just 185 grams, the ultra-lightweight body reduces strain on the head and neck, making the headphones so comfortable you may forget you’re wearing them.
For the campaign visuals, we teamed up with the brand for an exclusive NYC shoot. Fashion influencer Sierra Rena, known for styling global artists such as SZA and Tyla, served as both model and stylist, while renowned photographer John Yuyi captured the visuals. Hair was styled by NERO and makeup by Sena Murahashi, bringing together a creative team at the forefront of culture and fashion.
