Merrell has introduced SpeedARC Surge BOA, its newest trail sneaker built for athletic fast hikes.
Starring a knitted upper with sculptural outsoles, the SpeedARC Surge BOA is offered in two colorways: black with white soles and orange accents alongside a cream-colored option with gold-tone details.
Crafted with the latest FloatPro™️ technology and Flexplate™️, the new sneaker spotlights a new SpeedARC™️ midsole system that is fundamental to its claims for delivering “100% more energy return” than most trail runners on the market. It features an innovative construction comprised of coil-like shapes, which works harmoniously with the layered nylon plate to boost energy return and shock absorption while also improving stability. These all rest atop Merrell’s Quantum Grip durable outsole for incredible traction on terrains.
In addition to that, the shoe also incorporates FloatPro+ SC, a new nitrogen-injected supercritical foam that offers great cushioning as well as propulsion. Its double BOA® lacing system features Precision Fit technology, which enables rapid adjustments via external knobs to ensure a secure fit on the go.
