Season after season, Alejandro Gómez Palomo continues to challenge the confines of menswear, pushing the needle on traditional silhouettes and style codes, and for Spring/Summer 2025, he elected to do so at Uptown Manhattan’s Fourth Universalist Society Church. In a collection entitled “All of Heaven’s Parties,” Palomo Spain pushes us to think more about the interplay between sexuality and rationality, presenting a look at the beauty that transpires when we leave our preconceived notions and antiquated worldviews at the door.

“Why are emotions so intrinsic to our humanity — like lust, desire, and attraction — condemned with the threat of hell? If these feelings are woven into the fabric of our nature, why must they be denied in the pursuit of heaven? How can something so inherently human be deemed sinful?” poses Palomo in the collection notes.

He shared a bit more on the sentiment with Hypebeast, explaining how he brought this ethos to life through “embellishment on top of embellishment – Beading, fringes, sequins on sequins on sequins. Feathers on beading on sequins. All of it.”

Infused with inspiration from Japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki as well as Helmut Newton, Palomo puts the traditionally glamourous in direct conversation with the sinful and sensual, pairing striking silhouettes – sequinned pants, oversized detailing, micro-shorts and even vibrant ostrich-feathered wigs – with classic glam and Swarovski crystals.

His Spanish heritage is also of heavy influence in the collection, with Palomo tapping into local craftsmanship techniques like silk fringes and delicately handmade embroidery in a slew of garments.

When asked to describe the line in one word?

Without question, Palomo says: “Heavenly.”
