'Castlevania: Nocturne' Season Two to Release in 2025
Alucard, the vampire prince returns.
Netflix has shared a fresh teaser for the second installment of Castlevania: Nocturne, confirming the animated series’ return in 2025.
The first season finished airing back in October 2023 and in just ten days, Netflix announced the renewal for the series. Castlevania: Nocturne is the sequel to Kevin Kolde and Clive Bradley’s Castlevania series, which concluded with four seasons in 2021.
Season One ended with Richter and his group being on the brink of defeat against Erzsébet Bathory. Brief but suspenseful, the new teaser opens with the voice of Alucard saying, “I could use some help, Richterm,” as he emerges from the darkness — picking up from where the previous season had left off. Read the official synopsis below:
Now joined by the legendary Alucard, Richter Belmont and his band of vampire hunters are in a desperate race against time. Erzsebet Báthory, the Vampire Messiah, who already seems invincible, seeks the full power of the goddess Sekhmet so she can plunge the world into endless darkness and terror.
Exclusive to Netflix, Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2 is scheduled for a global release in January 2025. In the meantime, enjoy the official trailer above.
