Charlie Constantinou SS25 Is a Gorpcore Daydream
The Central Saint Martins graduate uplifts technical garments with hand-dyed treatments and deadstock nylon fabrications.

London Fashion Week is wrapping up once again, and it has been a season to remember. First-time runway participant Charlie Constantinou has closed the occasion with bright-toned utility, making his debut within the British Fashion Council‘s NEWGEN class of 2024/25.
Central Saint Martins graduate Charlie Constantinou has built a cult following spearheaded by his gorpcore daydreams and winter-ready collaborations with 66°North. The designer’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection continues to expand his marvelous universe, presenting an adaptable range of co-ed athletic gear that doesn’t leave excitement behind. Constantinou utilized a plethora of deadstock nylon that jumps between 28 looks guided by gorpcore signatures.
Hand-dyed nylons drenched the first look, consisting of layered outerwear and zippered parachute pants. ’90s-style zip-ups received ruffled peplums for fun, complemented by military cargo pants with concealed pockets emulating desert scenery. Graphic flames ignited on cozy knitwear for women, while men received ribbed sweater vests and matching headscarves. Additional menswear included harnessed tops, hooded vests, and retractable trousers, also seeing Constantinou present his most expansive womenswear offering to date. Textured tanks bubbled at the seams and exploded with volume, followed by printed wrap-around tops, cut-out tees, and knitted dresses to bring gorpcore to the dance floor.
