Casablanca Is Opening Its First Brick-and-Mortar Store
The space will be located on Paris’ Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré.
Casablanca will be opening its first retail store, Business of Fashion reported first. The 4843-square-foot (450-square-meter) space will be located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris on the Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré, a street that notably houses nearly every major fashion house.
“It’s the traditional home of luxury in Paris, and that’s where we wanted to be,” Casablanca founder Charaf Tajer said of the location, per BoF.
For Tajer, a physical store was a “logical continuation for the brand,” per BoF. Tajer himself is of Moroccan descent and grew up in Paris, with both of those cultures inspiring the brand’s clothing. He launched Casablanca in 2018, though the brand recently relocated its headquarters to London.
Former Stella McCartney executive Frederick Lukoff joined Casablanca as its CEO last year. The brand is reportedly on track to hit a record $50 million USD in sales this year.
