Post Malone is in his country era with his latest studio album, F-1 Trillion.
Clocking in at almost an hour, the extensive 18-track effort is supported by guest features from country’s A-listers — Tim McGraw, Hank Williams Jr., Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, Chris Stapleton and Hardy, while rapper Jelly Roll, folk/alt country artist Sierra Ferrell and Best Bluegrass Album GRAMMY winner Billy Strings add an eclectic blend.
While Posty rose to fame with his hip-hop catalog, he’s spent the past few years successfully venturing into pop and rock. It almost seems like a return to form for the 29-year-old; his initial foray into music was an audition for a metalcore band and he is a known fan of alt rock and folk with his viral Nirvana and Bob Dylan covers. He shines just as bright when singing over a country tune, and the stamp of approval from country’s biggest stars is just the icing on the cake.
