Update: It’s an exciting year for the Air Foamposite One as collaborations featuring everything from Tekken 8 to COMME des GARÇONS are en route. As outlined in our initial discussion below, the pair sports a black-and-white color composition with a marbled effect employed throughout the shoe’s signature shell while co-branding arrives via the heel and sockliner. Original Story: COMME des GARÇONS has reunited with Nike for an updated take on the Foamposite One. Following on from the “Black” and “White” iterations that the duo released in 2021, this latest silhouette is clad in spiraled black and white graphics inspired by the “Cat Eye.”

The new CDG x Nike Air Foamposite One boasts the same textural, circular design as the inaugural designs, with a silver marble finish across the shell. The statement-making facade sits atop a black rubber sole, while an all-black eyestay houses leather eyelets for the laces. The heel, also done up in black leather, features classic CDG branding.
The COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Air Foamposite One “Cat Eye” is expected to be released in July via Nike’s webstore and select retailers. The shoe will be priced at $325 USD. Take a first look at the design in the gallery above, and stay tuned for more information on its release.
