CDG Drops New Pieces Fit for Summertime Heat
Tossing up mesh and asymmetrical tees.
One strength of CDG’s is offering simple pieces that are still attractive in their minimalist and ability to mix with several outfits and styles. As the summertime heat rages on, the brand has now dropped three new pieces to accommodate those long days outside or inside.
The new pieces are a mesh tee, asymmetrical tee and double-layer tee. Leading the charge is the mesh tee that appears in classic black and white colorways. A triple CDG screenprint then compliments the tees in contrasting black and white hues alongside a screenprint of the full COMME des GARÇONS name.
Next up in the offering is the asymmetrical tee, which subverts the classic cotton T-shirt. Coming in black and white colorways, the piece appears with a split hem design that is complete with hems of different sizes for a high/low effect. Like the asymmetrical tee, the double-layer tee leans into mining sizing as a smaller gray tee is layered on a big white tee.
Recently, CDG tossed up overdyed summer tees in merlot, deep blue and green. Take a look at the new summer-ready offering in the gallery above. CDG is set to release the new assortment of black, white and gray tees on July 12 online.
