Hodinkee Reunites with Merci for a Unique Dress Watch Collaboration
Featuring a watch case that is neither round nor square.
Partnering for the second time around, Hodinkee, Parisian retailer Merci and its watch brand, Merci Instruments have revealed their newest collaborative timepiece.
Back in 2020, the two companies first joined forces on the LMM-H01, a limited-edition field watch sporting a quintessential Hodinikee color palette. This time around, both parties wanted to present a dress watch that is elegant, essential yet bold and should sell for under $700 USD.
The results see a distinctly shaped piece that is neither round nor square, as its case itself comprises both decagonal and octangular components. Composed of stainless steel, the reference arrives in a 36mm case size, outfitted with a brushed silver dial with an anthracite backdrop. Exuding 1940s retro appeal, the dial implements Arabic numeral in a sans serif typeface.
Beating at the heart of the timepiece is a Miyota 9039 caliber that provides around 42 hours of power reserve. Assembled in France, the Merci Instruments Beaumarchais H02 Limited Edition For Hodinkee comes with a honey-brown leather strap. Priced at $675 USD and limited to 500 units, the watch is now available to shop via the Hodinkee Shop.
