Erewhon Teams Up With Vacation for A Sunscreen-Inspired Smoothie

Ever smelled a sunscreen so good you wish you could drink it? Probably not, but luxury LA-based grocery store, Erewhon still delivered the opportunity to do so by releasing a new smoothie inspired by sunscreen brand Vacation’s Classic SPF 30 Lotion. The “Sunscreen Smoothie” uses organic coconut and banana to make up the base, with Tahitian Vanilla Syrup, Aloe and Sea Salt added to get the full tropical fantasy.
Vacation disclaimed in a press release, “While inspired by Vacation’s ‘World’s Best-Smelling Sunscreen’ scent, this smoothie does not, in fact, protect your skin from the sun. For that, please find a suitable Vacation Brand ‘Leisure-Enhancing’ sunscreen in your local Erewhon’s suncare aisle.”
This collaboration marks Erewhon’s departure from collaborative celebrity smoothies, with Vacation the only outside party tied to the drink. The market has recently found massive success by attaching a celebrity name to their co-branded products, with Hailey Bieber‘s viral “Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie” quickly becoming a bestseller and brand staple. Other smoothie collaborations include Bella Hadid and Kin Euphorics, Sophia Richie, Winnie Harlow and Gisele Bündchen.
While all other Erewhon smoothies will run you upwards of $20 USD, the Vacation “Sunscreen Smoothie” is free to Erewhon members until June 14th, only $9 USD for non-members and available at all Erewhon locations.
