A rare 2014 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse, one of only 92 models ever made and one of 450 total Veyrons is soon to be up for auction. The vehicle is estimated to fetch as much as $3,200,000 USD, with bidding opening June 12 as part of RM Sotheby’s Cliveden House sale.
The Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse holds the title of the world’s fastest convertible car, thanks to its removable “Targa” roof. Under the hood, it boasts an 8L W16 engine that delivers a significant 1,183 hp, allowing the car to reach a top speed of 255 mph. Its performance and power are complemented by an eye-catching Blue/Black exposed carbon fiber finish with a luxurious Tangerine leather interior.
This particular Veyron is loaded with factory-equipped options exceeding $400,000 in value. As an original UK delivery car, it has had only two owners, features just over 2,500 miles on its odometer and comes with a full Bugatti service history.
Initially intended for delivery to Japan, it found its first owner in the UK in January 2015 after arriving at HR Owen’s London showrooms. Subsequent services and meticulous maintenance have kept this vehicle in pristine condition. The second owner, who acquired the car in 2017, enhanced it with a QuickSilver titanium exhaust system and Paint Protection Film.
The Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, launched at the Geneva International Motor Show in 2012, features advanced carbon fiber bodywork, and revised gearing, designed to pay homage to Bugatti’s storied legacy, combining the brand’s historic craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology.
