Eric Emanuel Opens Airy New Store in East Hampton
The designer already operates stores in SoHo and Miami.
Eric Emanuel is expanding his reach to the Hamptons. The streetwear designer has opened a new store for his eponymous label in East Hampton, a village on Long Island, New York.
Emanuel already operates two stores – one in SoHo, Manhattan, and another in Miami’s Design District. After the new space officially opened on Friday, the designer shared photos of the interior of the store.
Compared to his other two outposts, the Hamptons space looks to be bigger and more airy. It also takes on a distinctly beachy aesthetic – fitting for the near-seaside location – featuring a yellow and white striped awning, matched to the cushioned seats inside. Elsewhere, potted beachgrass provides some greenery. The brand name appears above the awning in curly blue font, while “EE” decals adorn the windows.
For the space’s design, Emanuel tapped his frequent collaborator and streetwear heavyweight, New York Sunshine’s John Margaritis.
Emanuel launched his brand in 2015, focusing largely on athletic apparel, including his famous flagship basketball shorts, often selling out in mere minutes via drops every Friday. He also held a special drop coinciding with the Hampton’s store opening.
