Police are currently investigating a shooting outside of Drake‘s Toronto mansion. Shots were fired outside the rapper’s Bridle Path estate, leaving one of his security guards injured.

Per Toronto police inspector Paul Krawczyk, the shooting occurred at 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning when the security guard was standing outside the entrance to the home.

Authorities have yet to confirm whether or not Drake was inside the house at the time of the shooting. The victim is still in the hospital with serious wounds.

Krawcyzk also added in the press conference that the shooting was captured on video and the suspect fled the scene immediately after the incident. A motive has yet to be determined.

Per AP News, Krawcyzk was also asked if the rapper’s current Kendrick Lamar feud could have catalyzed the shooting. He noted that the investigators are aware of the recent rap beef, though it’s still too soon to determine a motive.
