After releasing an LM FLyingT sporting a sleek onyx dial, MB&F is back with a new M.A.D. Edition timepiece. Created in collaboration with acclaimed fashion designer and artist, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, the latest M.A.D.1 reference arrives in a tri-color design and goes by the name of “Time to Love.”

This edition comes after the Maison’s previous Blue, Red and Green editions, while also marking the first collaborative reference from the series. The triple-blade winding rotor each arrives in Jean-Charles de Castelbajac’s iconic hues, with red signifying passion, blue for hope and yellow for human warmth.

Meanwhile, the Arabic numerals are emblazoned on the side of the watch case operated by a bright green hour disc and a black minute disc. This playful timekeeper is accompanied by an equally jovial leather strap in white or black, both embroidered with the watch’s name in alternating hues.

Regarding this collaboration, Maximilian Büsser from MB&F said “Jean-Charles de Castelbajac represents five decades of creativity. Very early on, he was able to create a unique voice and style, then over the years pivot, reinvent himself and challenge the status quo. Today, at the age of 74, his message of love and life is more than ever an example for the new generation.”

A limited edition of 999 examples, the M.A.D.1 “Time to Love” timepiece is priced at $3,600 USD (tax included) and is open for order via MB&F’s raffle system until April 17. For more details, head over to the M.A.D.Gallery online shop.
