With the help of Duke basketball guard Jared McCain to make the announcement.

Mark Zuckerberg has announced a new set of updates regarding Meta AI. For those still unclear to what extent Meta AI can be a part of your lives, the company has a new set of upgrades will help users become better acquainted with the function. With its new virtual assistant, the update makes Meta’s entire group of apps even smarter, faster, easier and more accessible.
Meta wants you to treat the AI tool as your own virtual assistant that is vailable across all of our apps including WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Facebook, Messenger, Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and soon Quest 3. To get it started, users can message Meta AI directly or in group chats by just tapping on the Meta AI blue circle icon whenever available. With the help of Meta AI, Meta aims to assist users in creating, connecting, or getting things done in a more effective manner. Embedded into the Meta apps, Meta emphasizes that the intelligent AI assistant has more capabilities than ever and can help users from writing a good caption for their latest post to making plans with friends in a group chat. The technology behind this feature allows Meta AI to be incorporated in the chats, feed and search, ensuring faster information access. Image generation is also now faster, allowing users to produce images as they are typing.
Currently, Meta AI is being rolled out in English in a dozen countries outside of the U.S. Those in Australia, Canada, Ghana, Jamaica, Malawi, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Singapore, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe will have access to this tool, as listed on the company blog post. To showcase how it all works, as part of the larger announcement, Meta partnered with NBA Draft-bound Jared McCain to see how he integrates Meta AI within his everyday life at Duke University. In an Instagram collab post, McCain shows how Meta AI helps him with workout planning, organizing school notes, and even sourcing new nail polish..
