Ahead of Hypebeast Flea New York on May 18 and 19, Hypebeast is spotlighting each of the event’s more than 30 vendors by giving an overview of their practice, their inspirations, and what they plan to bring to the event. Hypebeast Flea New York is free to attend — RSVP HERE

Nestled in Brooklyn’s Fort Greene neighborhood, Head Hi operates as a curated bookshop with a hi-fi sound system and espresso bar all under one roof. Founded in 2018 by husband-wife duo Alexandra Hodkowski and Alvaro Alcocer, the brand is dedicated to platforming art and design through the lens of publications and cultural programming. While serving locally roasted coffee, Head Hi sells a tailored lineup of architectural monographs and international magazines among its own limited-edition bindings. After hours, the corner storefront frequently hosts book launches, design shows, music experiences and creative exhibitions, all protected by a strict “no photos” policy in line with their no wifi and no laptops environment. Now, Head Hi is bringing that experience to its booth at Hypebeast Flea New York.
