Loro Piana Interiors Presents 'A Tribute To Cini Boeri' at Milan Design Week
Featuring the Compasso d’Oro-winning “Strips” system, “Bobo” armchairs and “Botolo” chairs.
At Milan Design Week, Loro Piana Interiors is hosting A Tribute To Cini Boeri, an installation honoring the centennial of esteemed Milanese architect and designer, Cini Boeri.
The installation features a selection of Boeri’s most celebrated furniture designs, including the Compasso d’Oro-winning “Strips” system, “Bobo” armchairs, and “Botolo” chairs. These pieces are uniquely adorned with Loro Piana Interior’s luxurious fabrics, further highlighting the intersection of classic design and modern textile innovation. The layout and collaboration with Cini Boeri and arflex also showcase Boeri’s commitment to functional, modular furniture that adapts to and enhances everyday living spaces.
Guests are encouraged to engage directly with the furniture, offering a hands-on experience emphasizing the practical and aesthetic aspects of Boeri’s designs. This interactive setup allows visitors to appreciate the tactile quality and functionality of the pieces up close.
A Tribute To Cini Boeri not only commemorates the designer’s influential legacy but also introduces a three-year journey of exploration and celebration. This leads up to a significant retrospective scheduled for 2026 at the Triennale Milano, which will delve into Boeri’s impact on design and architecture.
