ASPESI and vetsak Unveil “TRANSFORMATION” at Milan Design Week
A true fusion between fashion and furniture design.
vetsak has linked up with Italian fashion brand, ASPESI to unveil their unique collaboration entitled “TRANSFORMATION.” The project gives life to a trio of modular sofas, each crafted from upcycled ASPESI garments, complete matching blankets, pillow sets and plushies that range from small to larger-than-life sizes.
Founded in 2012, vetsak started as a humble company with cozy beanbag offerings. Since then, the brand has grown into a global furniture brand that crafts furniture that is as creative as they are comfy. Meanwhile, ASPESI is known for its timeless, sophisticated clothing that is elegantly minimalist and wearable. Together, the two brands amalgamate innovation with tradition, thus reimagining existing goods into something that out-lives its original lifespan.
The sofas are spotlighted in a minimalistic and dramatically lit installation space, accompanied by a sound scale that’s been curated by Villa Eugenie. Each piece boasts its distinct color, spanning an eclectic and multicolored edition, a utilitarian piece composed of varying hues of green and another coded in black, deep blue and gray.
“TRANSFORMATION” will be on view for the public at ASPESI’s showroom until April 19, opened from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day.
