Givenchy Exalts Tailoring With “Effortless Elegance” Menswear Collection

Whether he’s headed to a gala or a night out on the town, no closet is complete without a selection of tailored pieces. So to update the Givenchy man, the luxury house has introduced its new “Effortless Elegance” menswear collection.
An exaltation of tailoring, the collection looks to the core spirit of the “Givenchy Gentleman,” coined by the house’s founder Hubert de Givenchy. Comprising the collection are pieces like fluid suiting, utility jackets, varsity-inspired outerwear button-down shirts, relaxed jacquard knits and straight trousers. Special highlights include the black wrap utility jacket for a sleek look, an ocean-blue pinstripe suit and an ivory coordinating set for chic summer moments.
With it, the collection fuses the elements of classic and contemporary styles for a quintessentially versatile offering. Additionally, the selection of fabrications appears in solid-hued and printed shades of sand, royal blue, gray, navy, ivory, black and khaki. To bring the new collection to life, the brand enlisted the help of the London-based painter Tomo Campbell.
