KROST SS24 Imagines a Calm Life on the Coast
With woven waffle separates, oversized knit hoodies, forest-green loungewear and more.
Founded in 2018, New York fashion imprint KROST designs with purpose. With a legacy of philanthropic releases, the brand’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection builds on its charitable mission, with a line of coastal essentials that supports the New York Restoration Projects.
Mood-boarding the line, founder Samuel Krost looked to his own experience growing up on the coast in Ocean City, New Jersey, before moving to New York City for college. “We wanted to capture the essence of nature and it’s beauty,” he said.
Paying tribute to his youthful surroundings, the designer’s latest wares boast relaxed personalities. Woven waffle workwear jackets, which pair with trousers in an identical fabric, boast several roomy pockets and silver buttons, while palm tree sweater vests make a bolder graphic statement. Elsewhere, KROST introduces a staple denim jacket, as well as cozy hoodies that adopt oversized fits with multi-toned patterns, slanted pockets and thick drawstrings. Rounding out the lineup, the label expands its signature loungewear with forest green zip-up hoodies and sweat shorts.
“The Spring 2024 collection is my favorite work from the team to date,” said Krost. “It’s the best representation of where and how the brand is evolving. We’ve finally come to a place where we feel incredibly excited and confident in our sourcing and development of unique and distinct fabrications.”
KROST’s Spring 2024 collection is now available to shop on the brand’s webstore, as well as in select retailers. A portion of sales will benefit New York Restoration Projects, a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming open spaces in the state’s under-resourced communities.
