Pagani Presents Its Latest Masterpiece: The Huayra R Evo

Pagani continues to elevate the world of hypercars with the unveiling of its latest masterpiece, the Huayra R Evo. This open-top track hypercar not only pushes the boundaries of performance but also marks a significant addition to the exclusive Arte in Pista program, dedicated to owners of Pagani Track Hypercars.

The Huayra R Evo draws inspiration from the realms of IndyCar and historic Le Mans vehicles, boasting a “codalunga” or “long-tail” design that epitomizes a carefully studied evolution geared towards the racetrack. The heart of the vehicle is the Pagani V12-R Evo engine, a powerhouse delivering 900 hp at 8,750 rpm and a maximum of 567 lb-ft of torque, designed to offer an electrifying performance that rivals the legends of endurance racing.

Aerodynamic efficiency has been significantly enhanced, with a 45 percent increase in downforce, all while preserving the vehicle’s ease of handling. This leap in performance is complemented by an interior that merges safety with cutting-edge motorsport innovations, offering a cockpit inspired by the pinnacle of automotive technology.

The suspension system sees improvements in stability and precision, thanks to a new heave damper system, while the braking system has been advanced further with the introduction of CCM-R self-ventilated carbon-ceramic discs paired with bespoke racing pads. This is supported by Pirelli P Zero Slick tires, selected for unmatched control on the track under any condition.

Pagani’s Arte in Pista program, which began with the launch of the Huayra R, has expanded the experiences of Pagani clients, offering a calendar of personalized events at prestigious FIA circuits worldwide. This program includes non-competitive track events, technical assistance and the support of professional drivers to enhance driving skills.

The vehicle’s design and technical prowess are the result of extensive testing and feedback from the Arte in Pista events, in collaboration with partners like Pirelli and Brembo, to develop a vehicle that is not only high-performing but also distinctive and innovative.
