Pokémon TV Relaunches YouTube Channel
Allowing fans to re-watch classic episodes of the anime for free.
It’s time to watch ‘em all as Pokémon drops its most classic and nostalgic episodes on YouTube. Pokémon TV has officially relaunched its YouTube channel, giving fans a chance to take a trip down memory lane.
Bringing back the nostalgic episodes of the anime, Pokémon TV was first launched in 2021. The newly relaunched channel features series specials and replays of top competitive championships via the Nintendo Switch. Despite The Pokémon Company confirming earlier this year that it would be shutting down the app, Pokémon TV was revived over the weekend. Previously, the company listed eight other streaming platforms where fans could watch certain series, including on Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, Pluto TV, The Roku Channel, tubi, Freevee, hoopla, HappyKids and YouTube.
The channel description reads, “Welcome to the official Pokémon TV YouTube channel, where you can explore the world of Pokémon with Ash & Pikachu! Experience some of the most iconic moments from their adventure with our full episodes, live streams, compilations, and so much more!” Over the weekend, the YouTube channel saw the revival of the first 20 episodes for the very first season of the anime. The channel is only available in select regions at the moment. It was confirmed back in August that the series would launching in Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand to broadcast the first 22 seasons of the anime on YouTube.
