Greg Laboratory's Season Three Collection Is For an Alternate Reality
With Primaloft-insulated jackets, heavyweight T-shirts, water-repellent trousers and more.
Experimental New York label Greg Laboratory is on a mission to create a technical fashion utopia. Designed by Greg Jackson, the urban-minded brand operates under a straightforward tagline — “High Tech. Low Key. All Style.” — and builds its fashion manifesto in “seasons.” Greg Laboratory has just unveiled season three of its latest style thesis, “Clothes For an Alternate Reality,” in which Jackson evolves his brand’s signature shapes for the inevitable drop in temperature.
The line is filled with both old and new silhouettes. Mainstays include the PC-FT23 pants, which transform with shortened inseams in an all-season, water-repellent textile, and the PC-IS23 shirt, which employs a heavier construction than previous iterations for a more structured look.
Meanwhile, new additions to the Greg Laboratory wardrobe include the box-shaped PC-CT24 T-shirt, which is made with a heavyweight sweat-wicking jersey and a classic double-collar neck, and the PC-ST24 1/4-zip, which the brand bills as “half business, half pleasure” thanks to its double-knit recycled poly fleece composition. Elsewhere, the collection features a new PC-IJ24 jacket, which boasts a cropped silhouette, a water-repellent finish and deadstock Primaloft insulation.
