Deriving aesthetic cues from Rationalist architecture and mid-20th-century design, the release stars two models: the U2-RA and the U1-FL models — both perfectly capturing the essence of day and night.
Tailored for daytime elegance, the U2-RA features a full-black design with a scientific black dial devoid of luminescent details — exemplifying the purity of Rationalist architecture. On the other hand, the U1-FL is UNIMATIC’s first full-lume model. Designed to shine in low-light conditions, the timepiece is intended for those who thrive at night. Coated entirely in Super-LumiNova C1, the U1-FL ensures exceptional visibility and instant readability with its minimal dial and sterile bezel, embodying simplicity and functional design.
Powered by the reliable Seiko NH35A automatic caliber, both the U2-RA and the U1-FL limited editions are available in only 100 examples each and will be available via UNIMATIC on November 21, 2024.
