It was previously unveiled that Dr. Martens and MM6 Maison Margiela would be joining forces for a Fall/Winter 2024 footwear collection. Previewed earlier this year at Milan Fashion Week, the capsule collection reinvents four core Dr. Martens silhouettes – the iconic 1460 boot, the tall 1490 boot, the 1461 shoe, and the Penton loafer – into three unique hybrid designs that blend the distinctive styles of both brands.
The 1460/1461 Boot masterfully fuses Dr. Martens’ iconic 1460 silhouette with an innovative leather sock insert inspired by the 1461 model, available in bold black or striking red. Meanwhile, the 1461/Penton Shoe offers a sophisticated blend of the classic low-top 1461 Oxford and the elegant Penton loafer, presented in a dual-tone Black/Oxblood colorway.
