Adam Driver was a fan-favorite of Star Wars viewers when he made his debut as Kylo Ren in 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The actor went on to return as the antagonist in 2017’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi and 2019’s Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the latter of which sees the character perish.

While Lucasfilm may be gearing up to put out more Star Wars films and TV shows, Driver won’t be appearing in the franchise again. In an interview on the SmartLess podcast, he shared that he was aware there was more Star Wars content on the way, “but not with me.”

Briefly elaborating on the topic, Driver simply said, “I’m not doing anymore.” The actor confirmed that the reasoning was that his character had been killed off, thus ending his storyline with the film’s trilogy.

Star Wars fans won’t be starved for new content to watch, even if Driver isn’t a part of it. In 2024 alone, Lucasfilm is reportedly gearing up for the release of multiple new shows, including the live-action Star Wars: Skeleton Crew and Star Wars: The Acolyte. There will also be a third season of the animated series, Star Wars: The Bad Batch.

Stay tuned for more details on all of the Star Wars content slated to release in the coming months.
