Yves Tumor Introduces Marc Jacobs' Charmed-Out Dr. Martens Collaboration
Draping the Jadon boot in silver chains and pendants to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
Marc Jacobs has a Gen-Z in a chokehold, seeing his recent work with Blumarine and Bleach London expand on current obsessions with Y2K fashion. For his latest endeavor, Jacobs’ main line is reuniting with Dr. Martens for its latest take on iconic styles.
Jacobs celebrates the Jadon boot’s 10th anniversary through punk-inspired motifs introduced by experimental artist Yves Tumor. The musician is known for breaking sound boundaries and communicates their rebellious identity on local streets.
The Marc Jacobs x Dr. Martens Jadon boot is crafted in glossy black leather, featuring a high collar, co-branded tongue tags, and platformed rubber soles with yellow stitching. Silver chains and pendants hang from the throats, featuring keys, locks, hearts, and eye charms with a life of their own.
Take a closer look at the Marc Jacobs x Dr. Martens Jadon boot collaboration in the gallery above. The footwear offering will launch via Dr. Martens on September 15.
