Following their initial team-up back in October 2022, Katharine Hamnett and NEIGHBORHOOD have now reconnected for another capsule collection. Comprised of T-shirt selection, the special range sees the duo share a series of poignant social messages.
Founded in 1979, Katharine Hamnett is a subversive label that expresses style through a traditional British lens that touches on fashion, street culture, and evocative subcultures. The latest collaboration shares social messages through bold designs that draw from sentiments of the 1980s and more trying times for the world. An interesting offering is the T-shirt marked with “NO WAR” a message that was spread following the tragedy of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in New York City.
Priced at ¥9,900 JPY (approximately $68 USD), Katharine Hamnett x NEIGHBORHOOD capsule collection will be available via NEIGHBORHOOD and at select retailers September 2, with shipping set for early November. It is also important to note that proceeds from the sale of the range will go towards supporting refugees through the UNHCR, the United Nations Refugee Agency.
