Coi Leray Drops ‘Blue Moon’ EP To Coincide With the Super Blue Moon
Which will be visible later tonight.
Coi Leray is looking up for inspiration in her new long-form release – literally. Titled Blue Moon, the emerging rapper’s latest five-song EP is named after tonight’s upcoming Super Blue Moon appearance – which NASA reports won’t be visible again until 2026.
Leray readied us for the release with four weeks’ notice, as she debuted her new blue hair color, and served up a slew of ethereal blue-hued photos, evocative of the Super Blue Moon’s aura. See a few of the rapper’s captivating posts ahead of Blue Moon‘s release below.

Blue Moon sees the compilation of five new songs by Leray, all of which are under three minutes long. Across the concise yet cohesive project, Leray flexes her vulnerability while showcasing her ability to slide over a beat without any help. See the full tracklist, sans any featured artists, below.

“This EP I get deep, I get vulnerable. I got tired of “trying” new things and wanted to just do what I do BEST,” Leray shared in a recent Instagram post. “I have a hard time with telling my story because I get wrapped up in the media narratives, however music is the best way for me to tell it… it’s my life, my story, so why not let me tell it?”
Blue Moon is now available to stream on Spotify and Apple Music.
