Chinese unisex label A.A. Spectrum is preparing for the colder seasons ahead with the arrival of its Fall/Winter 2023 “LIQUIDALLOY-FLORA” collection. The utilitarian brand’s striking identity cannot be overlooked, apparent in every design.

A.A. Spectrum’s FW23 offering takes inspiration from liquid metals, appearing in movement when melted. Chinese chrysanthemum flowers are referenced across the collection, symbolizing happiness, and commonly gifted during the Lunar New Year.

The sprouting petals of chrysanthemum botanicals flourish through transitional and geometric outerwear that can be worn in different ways. A.A. Spectrum collaborates with Swiss artist Cédric Muller for FW23, creating grunge illustrations using computer coding systems. Collarless military jackets receive protective squared padding matched with splotched undergarments that turn into face covers. Tugged outerwear boasts futuristic appeal, followed by down-filled gilets, pocketed cargo pants, and multi-colored knitwear.

Vibrant orange jackets are ideal for pouring skies, designed with removable goggled headgear, insulating gloves, and spiral indentations. Others see dangling chest pouches and paint-like finishes, completing the collection with graphic hoodies and layered T-shirts in metallic hues.
