Chris Gove’s cult label Percival is a prolific collaborator and a champion of all things British, following up on its recent collaboration with Duke + Dexter, another with Pikol, and its mainline “Foragers” collection with perhaps its most poignant partnership to date. Indeed, Percival has tapped Slazenger, and in doing so the duo has developed a capsule range of items fit for the tennis season.

Released in line with the Wimbledon tennis tournament, Percival x Slazenger looks back at the former’s ability to modernize classics and the latter’s courtside legacy, which dates back to 1902 when Slazenger tennis balls were first used at Wimbledon. These are the foundations of the collaborative drop, but there’s more to this than just stripes and green hues.

Ultimately, this collection is designed for the country club: a burnt orange zip-up long-sleeve polo bares a fictional reference to “The Racquet Country Club,” sitting alongside a ’70s geometric print. This member’s institution can be found embroidered on T-shirts (in white, of course), on the back of multicolored geometric polo shirts, on beige caps, and even on what might be considered the standout item of the drop — a limited edition Percival x Slazenger knitted “Vista Jacquard” polo shirt, sporting an all-over design inspired by Monte Carlo.

All your other necessities are included, from tennis balls to member’s key fobs, a tennis racquet, shorts, towels, and more. Take a look at the collection above, and shop the range in Percival’s Soho, London store or online now.

In related news, Hypebeast recently served up a tennis digest, exploring how the sport is infiltrating fashion in 2023.
