Lil Uzi Vert Promises To "Drop The Album Y'all Really Looking For" If 'Pink Tape' Goes No. 1
As they add “Luv Is Rage 3” on their Instagram bio.
Another Lil Uzi Vert album may already be in the works just after the artist dropped off their highly-anticipated album, Pink Tape.
The rapper took to Instagram Story on July 4 to give fans an exciting bargain: get Pink Tape to No. 1 on the Billboard 200, “And I will drop [the] album [y’all] really looking for.” Although Uzi didn’t confirm what project they’re referring to, they previously mentioned that they’re not keen on releasing a deluxe version of Pink Tape but is ready to “drop a whole other album.”
Some fans have speculated that the record in question is actually Luv Is Rage 3 — the follow up to Uzi’s 2017 debut album — as the rapper added the title on to their Instagram bio. Nothing has been confirmed as of writing, however, and fans will have to do their part in ensuring a No. 1 debut for Pink Tape. If fans are successful, Pink Tape will dethrone Morgan Wallen’s 15-non-consecutive week reign on the Billboard 200 and become the first hip-hop album of 2023 to debut at No. 1.
Elsewhere in music, Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” could becoming the first billion-dollar grossing tour in history.
