Glasgow-based brand Mackintosh has just presented its brand-new lookbook for Spring/Summer 2023 and the imprint is continuing to offer clean-cut tailoring.

Over recent times, Mackintosh has proved that it can work at the highest level when it comes to contemporary design. For example, its link-up with Samuel Ross’ A-COLD-WALL* was arguably Mackintosh’s biggest collaboration to date, while its solo capsules have continued to evolve with elevated technical elements integrated into understated pieces.

This time around, Mackintosh is continuing to use color as its main point of inspiration. Hues of yellow, blue, and green are consistently used throughout the drop, whilst animal prints — seen best on the brand’s new trench coat — are welcomed to offer more intense vibrancy.

Furthermore, Mackintosh’s new outerwear pieces have been designed with fabrications of ripstop nylon and complemented with water-repellent finishes and drawstring hoods. Additional panels are also included across a melange of products — with the latter concealed by a selection of snap buttons — allowing the silhouette to be extended at the hem.

Rounding off the collection, Mackintosh includes a selection of accessories — such new bucket hat iterations, bags, and glasses — along with a selection of tailored trousers and shirts.

You can take a closer look at the new collection from Mackintosh above and be sure to keep an eye on the brand’s official Instagram page for further release details.
