Each book in Louis Vuitton‘s Fashion Eye series acts as a refined travel guide, offering an intimate look at global locales through the lens of a fashion photographer. Past iterations have explored destinations all over the world — ranging from British Columbia to Bali — providing a romantic yet realistic glimpse into the local life. LV‘s latest additions to the collection include Slim AaronsItalian Rivieras and Jonathan Llense’s Tahiti.

Aarons’ Italian Rivieras showcases the dolce vita across 112 pages of aesthetically alluring images. Renowned for his candid celebrity photography, Aarons traveled to the Italian coastline to document the carefree, glamorous lifestyle of jet-setting movie stars from the 1960s to the 1980s. Across 100 photographs, Italian Rivieras juxtaposes Aarons’ colorful landscape shots with his lively candids featuring locals and visitors. Take a look inside, below.

Jonathan Llense, meanwhile, exemplifies the beauty in everyday life in Tahiti. The French photographer, who spent a month exploring the island, leans into close-up shots that depict the more mundane aspects of reality. Llense intermingles photos of picturesque landscapes with detail-heavy, still-life shots, giving readers an in-depth look at life on the oftentimes romanticized and resort-ified island. Have a closer look at Tahiti in the gallery below.

The new Fashion Eye books retail for $68 USD and are currently available in both English and French on Louis Vuitton’s webstore. Both hardcover books sit at the same dimensions — 20.8 cm x 14 cm — and come with an embossed cloth binding.
