Crenshaw Skate Club Readies Graphic-Heavy Summer Capsule
Featuring illustrative T-shirts, baggy shorts, logo-laden hats and pins.

After dropping off a “Core Logo” collection in May, Crenshaw Skate Club has returned with an all-new summer capsule featuring graphic-covered T-shirts, shorts, hats and pins.
Inside the warm-weather line, the Southern California skate label plants illustrations referencing barbershops and underground parties — both staples in founder Tobey McIntosh’s world — across the aforementioned silhouettes. Among them, one T-shirt features an “Underground Sound” graphic that lists the names and nicknames of Crenshaw’s team riders, and another spotlights different hairstyles under the label’s logo. Shorts keep it simple, sweeping below the knee with an oversized construction, while hats boats the brand’s iconography on black and brown iterations.
Since founding the label in 2017, McIntosh, who grew up skating in South Central LA, has made it his mission to represent and empower inner-city skaters. “When I would watch skate videos and flip through skate magazines, I rarely saw people who looked like me and my friends,” he said in a statement. “So, I decided to start Crenshaw Skate Club to represent us in the skate industry.”
Crenshaw Skate Club’s summer capsule collection will launch on the brand’s webstore on July 15 at 11 a.m. PT. Prices range from $38 USD to $50 USD. Peruse the line in the gallery above.
