Longines Updates Its Flagship Heritage Timepieces With Moon Phase Displays
Arriving in three colorways.
Expanding on its Flagship Heritage collection, Longines has introduced a moon phase complication to its timeless yet understated series.
Presented in a simple yet sophisticated design, the Flagship Heritage collection has always been an encapsulation of Longines’ timeless elegance and classic aesthetics. The new time-tellers are attired in a mirror-polished finish steel case that measures 38.5mm in diameter. It’s offered in three elegant colorways, each with a domed dial in a different, ranging from opaline silver, sunray silver, and sunray blue.
The highlight of the new Flagship Heritage watches is its newly-incorporated moon phase display, which sits just above the six o’clock mark. The rest of the dial is adorned by applied indices and polished hour, minutes, and seconds hands, complete with a tonal Longines logo. On the caseback, the model comes embossed with the collection’s iconic emblem, which features a caravel on a gold medallion.
Beating at the core of the novelties is the in-house L899.5 caliber, a mechanical self-winding movement that boasts a frequency of 25,200 hourly vibrations, and a power reserve of up to 72 hours. All variations are accompanied by a sleek alligator strap, available in brown, gray, or blue to complement its designated case and dial.
The new references are now available via Longines for the price of $3,050 USD.
