DAIWA PIER39 FW23 Collection Is All About the "Classic Outdoors"
With a focus on technical versatility.
While Japanese brand DAIWA PIER39 is intrinsically rooted in creating designs inspired by fishing apparel gear, the brand bridges the gap between city and nature, the past and present. Time and time again, the label continues to show that it focuses on its versatile and functional clothing at its core.
For its Fall/Winter 2023, the pieces proceed with the “Classic Outdoors” as its underlying theme, combining technical pieces with a relaxed silhouette. Drawing inspirations from the 1980s and 1990s outerwear, the collection features vibrant colors and apparel made with high-tech premium fibers to withstand the unexpected weather conditions. Since it will be released for the FW23 season, the collection focuses on offering adaptable pieces that can be interchangeable for winter sports activities.
European hunting coats inspire the the outerwear pieces from this season. With a glossy finish tactile memory material, the pieces receive a more vintage aesthetic. To ensure the pieces are fit for harsh weather conditions and are prone to the winter, the pieces have a water-repellent finish. The original mountain parka can be worn with various jackets, while the oversized double-breasted coat is constructed with athletic material for added stretch and comfort. Pleated pants and heavyweight t-shirts are also available with this collection.
