Bell & Ross, alongside renowned bartender Alessandro Palazzi, has partnered up with Revolution and The Rake for an exclusive watch collaboration. Titled “Vesper,” the resulting time-teller is inspired by Palazzi’s signature cocktail with the same name.
Described as “the ultimate martini lovers’ timepiece and community symbol,” the “Vesper” watch is doused in a warm amber hue with sleek touches in black. Its bronze case comes outfitted with a stainless steel caseback, and aluminum bezel with a black Thirstmeter scale. Gracing its tonal, sunray-brushed dial are gold-plated applied hour markers and a matching handset filled with Super-LumiNova. The markers on its vintage-style black subdials have been subtly redesigned to emulate the silhouette of martini glasses. In addition, a small, circular date display is also located between the 4 and 5 o’clock marks.
Partially viewable through its caseback is the BR.CAL-301 self-winding movement that powers the collaborative timepiece with up to 42 hours of running time. The rest of the sapphire crystal is imprinted with “The Rake” alongside the phrase, “A Cocktail a Day Keeps the Doctor Away” in a matte golden hue. Completing the timepiece is an accompanying Horween calfskin racing strap, perforated with allover circular cut-outs.
The “Vesper” Bellytanker Chronograph will release on Revolution’s official website commencing July 6, 10 a.m. EDT. It’ll retail for $5,250 USD and will only be available in a limited run of 50 pieces.
